Our Team

Now acting as General Manager of the company, Lance has been dedicated to the NDT Industry since 1996 and has achieved multiple Sr. Level certifications in various methods of NDT and Visual Inspection Techniques. Often described by friends and family as a “Tweeker”, Lance has a fast-paced and direct approach to most things in life which has helped drive him to today’s status. Lance Inspections was started in 2006 by Lance and his wife Christina and has developed into a full sized company with over 20 employees and many close clients in the Peace Country. Lance enjoys family time, being in the outdoors, concerts, motorcycle touring, and good conversation, his personality, and dedication is evident throughout the company in many aspects.

Christina is the Office Manager of Lance Inspections and has been since day one. As a co-founder of the company Christina is dedicated to the smooth operations in all administrative aspects. Christina has over 18 years experience working in the NDT industry, completing specialized reference drawings, data templates, and reporting results. Christina has a close, hand-picked team of data and AutoCAD assistants that work under her management and she remains an integral part of the company as she has from the start, even through the busy task of raising three kids. Christina enjoys many things including golf, time with family and friends, camping, kayaking, and landscaping her acreage. She is known as “The Real Boss” to many of the staff members, including Lance S.

Steve is a dedicated Quality Control Manager and our in-house CGSB Level 3 designate, amongst many other roles. Steve has been involved in the NDT trade since 2003, and with Lance Inspections since 2008. Steve is a hard-working and motivated man who has developed his skills to a Sr. Level in multiple practices. Steve still works in the field from time to time, however he spends much of his time reviewing company reports, assisting in ongoing employee training, and company procedure development. Steve remains at the forefront of the company’s management system and is involved in one way or another with almost everything that goes on. When he is not working you will likely find Steve at the lake with his friends and family, fishing, helping someone out, transporting one of his three kids to an event, or possibly in his home forge working on his next steel project.

As one of the company’s most experienced field technicians, Lance holds the position of Operations Manager.

Dispatch tasks, data set-up, and daily communications with client reps and company employees keeps Lance busy day to day. Lance has been with the company since 2010, however it feels much longer as he has become a true “Go To” guy for our employees. Over the years Lance has headed up many of the company’s largest projects and has been present through many industry changes. Known to many as “The Other Lance” or “Gano” he has proven to be a great asset and looks forward to many years ahead with the group. On days off Lance can be found camping, quadding, motorcycle touring, playing Hockey, Golfing, or simply being Dad to his two young children.
